hi,

I need to set up a per domain accounting on a web server.
we host about 20 domains. for each of these I need to generate a monthly report
of about this form:

455 MB (traffic)
1343 MB
234234 MB

the traffic report should include http, ftp and smtp ip traffic.

I tried to do it with ntop ( but it doesnt seem to do
the trick.

any one know a tool to do it?
thanks + greetings from cologne, germany.

Selecting the right tool for this job depends highly on the scale of the network and traffic. If you need to do this type of reporting on a very large scale, TREND from DeskTalk Systems is the way to go. If implemented correctly, it scales like nothing else. On a smaller scale, there are several products that would probably work. NetVoyant from Red Point would probably be the least expensive but don't expect to support a large environment with it (redpt.com). [sig][/sig]
