We have an AIX server which for some reason thinks its the domain controller on our network.
This has only happened since the latest re-boot.
Why or what do i need to check to ensure the box is not conflicting on the network with the real domain controller?

thanks.

Dear smacattack,

To begin with, I find this quite odd indeed, that an AIX server is spoofing your Domain Controller...???!!!

Let me simply clarify a couple of points:
1) Your domain, is it WinNT, Win2000, or ???
2) What version of AIX is running on your RS6000/pSeries server?
3) What is the IP address of your Domain Controller vs. your AIX server?
4) What subsystems & processes are running on the AIX server:
lssrc -a
ps -ef

If this is causing real problems, shutdown your AIX server, unplug the network cable, then power on the AIX server.
