The vice president of our company works from home the majority of the time. He has a small home network (P2P) that he needs to connect. His laptop is a W2K and the computers on the network are Win 98. When he tries to use a shared printer on a 98 machine he receives an error message stating: "Logon server unavailable unable to perform requested service." However, if he logs on locally he is able to access share files and print to the printer. How can I configure his computer remotely to access all resources on his home network? Thanks.

Paul

Even knowing it is not the problem, beware of the network traffic printing generates. Printing remotely, from a simple 56k modem, doesn't seem to be a good choice.

Shore

No. He receives the message when printing to his network printer on his LAN.
