The Domain admin group is automatically added to local administrators group in all domain computers. With multiple domains it is sometimes necessary for a remote domain administrator to have administrator access. You cannot add a user from a remote domain to the local domain admins group, the system will not let you. Is there a way around this to grant remote users local admin rights?

Thanks

I found this statement in an article at

Enterprise Admins - It is automatically a member of the administrators local group on all machines that are a member of all domains in the forest.

In our forest this is not the case, no computers have enterprise admins in the local admins group. Does anyone know why this might be and how to fix it?

Thanks

Enterprise Admins are automatically Admins. You won't see them specifically listed on a local level.
