I want a program to halt until a certain code of variable lenght is terminated. In VB6 I used DoEvents.
What is the way in VB.NET 2005 to achieve this?

Many thanks and greetings from Brugge (Bruges - Belgium),

Multi-threading.
Can you please enlighten me on how I can use it to achieve my goal?

There are a couple of FAQs on it, and plenty of information on the web. I have no idea what you goal is, so I can't tell you presicly what to do, but maybe with a better understanding of what you are trying to achieve we can.
