Is this feasible, or do I have to run RAID from the BIOS, and possibly delete my OS and all applications?

Anything is helpful!

nope. It only allows one to make dynamic disks. If you continue down you read to create mirrored disks in Server 2000 using XP.

Try it! Take your C Drive change it to dynamic as well as the second drive! Now create the mirror, and oh you cant!

The only way I know now is a hack, and I am not up to destroying my OS. I am going to have to possibly reformat my drives and use RAID on my mobo!

I cannot believe I am saying that MS is STUPID!

Where did we switch from striped (raid 0) to mirror (raid 1)?

Besides, if your mother board supports Raid 1 (which I assume is what you want, not raid 0 as stated in the subject), you're better off using the motherboard hardware anyway instead of software-based raid. With the right proceedure you will not "destroy you OS". Simply image you existing partition, build your array [whichever level you're after], and then restore the image. Searching this forum will find several good recommendations for imaging software.

thanks! I am going to do a complete backup and then start over.

It was my fault in the beginning. I meant -1
