I installed Veritas on our main server and agent on all remaining servers.
All went well for many months until the back up started to fail.
I established this was due to a lack of hard drive space on the servers root drive (C) however on the E Drive there is 328Gb free.
When I try and install it on the E Drive it does not work and wants to be installed on the same drive as the Windows 2000 Server installation.
Any suggestions on how to get around this would be appreciated.

During the install setup I was able to change the install to my E drive.

After you unistalled Veritas from your C drive make sure you remove the Veritas registry keys.

Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAREremove everything in the VERITAS file.

Also remove all files from your BE install directory.
C:\program files\veritas\backup exec\NT

Reboot and try reinstalling.

Zum.

Thanks Zum I will try first thing in the morning and let you know how I get on.
