Does the "Report" function in ASA need system configurations to work?

I'm trying to schedule reports using the "report" function as instructed below. I tried each output options and it's not working. There is no print out to the printer or exported file.

"Instead of running TEST and STATUS commands from GEDI or Emulation, run these using the Report task under the Advanced tab. It will save you from pressing Next over and over and puts the output into a file you can easily refer back to.

You have to have the login & password defined to run reports. The 'Log in manually to system' box must be un-checked.

If you are logged in via emulator or GEDI the report won't run until the session is closed (leave ASA open).

If you are logged in manually, run the report and then close the session not the whole ASA program. On the schedule tab (bottom middle) you will see your report sitting waiting until you close the session, then you'll see the item in the schedule section change and see the report running.
