SIP was not supported in 07, was wondering if there are updates to to the Mitel software that now support SIP protocol.
If so, what is the minimum software version of the PBX to support it?

thanks,

From the 200 ICP manual (Rel 4): Mitel 5212 IP Phone (Dual Mode)
Description
The dual mode Mitel 5212 IP Phone can operate either as a standalone device connected to a SIP (session initiation protocol) service provider or as part of a Mitel ICP system using the MiNet protocol.
With Teleworker Solution Release 3.0 and higher, the dual mode 5212 IP Phone can be operated remotely in MiNET mode (i.e. ICP-supported). For information on how to configure the 5212 IP Phone (Dual Mode) to remote mode after installation, refer to the Remote IP Phones Configuration Guide for the Teleworker Solution available at (see Supporting Documentation).
