There is some sort of VOIP Option 150 and I've been asked if DHCP on Microsoft Server 2003 supports option 150 and I cannot find anything that says yes or no. Any information related to this would be greatly appreciated.
Check with the HW Vendor. MS DHCP allow you to specify/create/configure Vendor Classes. I have done this with the Cisco Airespace AP's. So out of the box it didn't have an option, but I was able to create the option following Cisco's instuctions.
Yes Microsoft 2003 Server supports DHCP option 150. This specific option is used by Cisco phones to record the IP Address of the TFTP servers (Read Call manager). When the phone boots it uses the IP Addresses listed in option 150 to request its phone load.
