Does Micros store Cash Tips as a discrete value?

We have Micros Res 5.2.

When our servers clock out they see a screen that looks like the image in the attachment. I'm trying to find out if Micros stores the Cash Tips value the server enters as a discrete value somewhere in its labyrinth of tables, or if it only stores the Net Tips value.

I really need to find the Cash Tips value (in the screenshot example, the 10.00) by itself if possible. I have looked in all the tables I thought it might be stored in (shift_emp_ttl, etc.) but it is only storing the calculated Net Tips value.

Look in micros.time_card_dtl and micros.tip_declared_dtl

micros.time_card_dtl.tip_decl_amt and micros.shift_emp_ttl.tips_decl_ttl both show the calculated amount, not the cash tips amount. In other words, in the screenshot example, they both contain 25.81, not 10.00.

Micros doesn't have any way of posting cash tips outside of employees entering them manually using a declared tips button. That's what those two fields hold. Since tips can vary wildly from site to site, so unless there's some custom work there aren't any calculations done to arrive at the tips_decl_ttl amount. If it's different than what you're seeing on your report, you'll have to look at the template in Crystal Reports and find out how that's being calculated in the report.

Update on this - we sent the SIM that creates the popup in the screenshot to one of our 3rd-party micros people, and he said it is storing the calculated value of (cash tips - tips paid) in shift_emp_ttl.tips_decl_ttl. It does not also store each discrete value somewhere. I'm trying to find out from him if it's possible to modify the SIM to store the tips paid in a separate field.

Cash tips are inherently impossible to accurately track because you're relying on the employees to report them...
