Hi Guys,
Does IP Office support AVAYA 4690 IP Conference Endpoit? I have a 4690 endpoint, but can not regist to the system. It's showing discovering all the time. How can I make it work on IP Office?
The 4690 IP works without any extra license.
It's an Avaya phone, and it is in the 46xxsettings.txt. Maybe you have to manually copy the actual firmware into the manager directory.
Did you try ?
I does not work unless you use the above method

Yes.
I was configuring a new system for a customer in our lab. At that point I had no license at all, but DHCP, TFTP ect for the IP Phones was ready.
Then someone of our ACM group asked me if I can use this setup to TFTP new Firmware to the 4690 and set the SSON to 242 becouse his customer can only support one DHCP option. We did this. And changing the SSON in the 4690 is not possible until the conference phone has registered.
We actually made calls too.
I added the license and the 4690 now gets to the extension login screen. However it will not accept any extension and password combination that I tried.
Did yo gave it an ipadres or by dhcp ?
Make sure that in manager you do not give it an ipadres if you use dhcp
