I am enjoying using and learning Flash 4.0 but every half hour or so it regularly crashes spectacularly ! I always have to ensure that I save the work as soon as I get the first symptom and then immediately end task and re boot the programme before continuing...I dont mind doing this but I just wondered if anyone else is having the same issue? and is there anything I can do to improve the performance?
anyone???? please?

I think this isn't normal for flash. Cause I've been working with flash on both PC and Mac and I never had this problem. I think there is something wrong in your configuration of your computer (e.g. Windows 95/98 or Mac OS). You have to find out where that problem lies. Maybe reinstall your pc.

I have the same problem with flash. Its a real pain. I have to save my work periodically and as soon as i see that the program is acting funny, ie: things start to disapear, such as letters, numbers, graphics....i have to reboot the computer or have it crash. If anyone has an answer to this growin epidemic, i'd like to hear it

It happens to me, too. Every now and then everything hangs up and I have to close the program and start it up again. I don't know if it is Flash itself, or a conflict which occurs with MS Windows. In any case, I've learned to save my work after I do any movie sequence.
Judland
judlandwaste@netscape.net
<a href= Sky Media Group
for my Intellivision site.

Flash is a very stable application unless you start to use large files like music or huge pictures that you import. When using these items you have to give flash a chance to keep up with your clicks from your mouse. I suggest shrinking you files before you import them.
Todd Norris
Todd.Norris@home.com
<a href= Personal Profile 2000
Hope this helps !

Yes, Flash gets unstable when you try to add to much information at the same time. I think that if you guys turn on the Outline option for layers with pictures that would help you. Also select the Fast or Outline views.

Good luck people
Fernando Regueiro
ferhelping@yahoo.com
