Does Crystal Standard Edition support ODBC connections?
I have the driver, I just need to make certain that I will be able to make an ODBC connection with the standard edition. I have not made a purchase yet but I looked over the feature list and the standard version should do just fine, but the ability to use ODBC in this version was not explicit in the write-up.

What version of crystal? 8x, 9, 10 or XI? Or maybe something older?

Perhaps you can provide a link to the "write up" you are talking about?

No, it does not, get Pro for the lowest cost ODBC compliant versions.

Thank you for your response.

The standard edition version of Crystal must have some connectivity abilities, therefore I assume it is to some type of SQL compliant db such as; MSSQL, MYSQL, POSTGRES......

As a follow-up question, what database(s) does the standard edition connect to?

What Crystal terms as PC based data sources, Access, DBF, but no, NOT SQL based databases.
