Does CR 6.0 support multiple subreports?

Hello,

I'm trying to use 2 sub rpts in a CR 6 rpt. This is a rpt that is "plugged" into a vb app (which my company doesn't own, thus, we can't look at the code) and is run while someone is looking at a client. What I want is my main rpt to execute and both subs (linked with parameters) to execute. I do not want the parameters to prompt the user for a condition. I just want them linked to the main rpt selection crit. I have been unable to do this so far. Once I set up one parameter in one sub rpt, it works fine. Then when I go to set up the other, it will work, but once I'm done, the previous parameter from the other sub rpt disappears, as does the selection crit that was created with it. Can Crystal Reports 6.0 handle this problem? So far it seems that it can only have one linking parameter to one linked sub rpt. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm pretty stumped on this one!

Thx

Sorry, I cannot actually help you, but just want to let you know that I use CR 8.5 and have a report that has 5 groups and 16 subreports. Each subreport has linked parameters (3, 4 or 5) to the main report. This has been working fine. So... maybe you need to upgrade from CR 6! (No guarantee that will work, though!)

Thx for the advice ... but my hands are tied! CR6 is what goes out with the software package that we produce. I am aware that you can do it in CR7 and up, but I'm having a heck of a time in CR6. However, I got some other input from the other newsgroup that I use for CR.

This is a great newsgroup with many experts. The posts are not instant like in this newsgroup, but it's still a great site!
