Does changing administrator password have any knock on effects 1

I know from other systems that changing top level administrator passwords can have a knock on effect further down the tree. I am new to IPO and don't want to break it already...

You should be OK, but don't change it too often, as an IT bloke did on a system that we installed, and it started crashing regularly, that was OLD firmware though

If you dont break it how do you expect to fix it?

There are no major issues as long as you can remember it.

Thanks, I would prefer to have the ability to break it but as it's already live I think that could be career limiting.
