Does changing a dll require re-register? 1

Hi,

I want to know if I make changes to a DLL and upload it to my webserver, do I have to reregister the DLL on the server?

Yes. The best way is to follow these steps befoer you upload.

1) Unregister Existing version of DLL
2) Delete DLL
3) Upload new DLL
4) Register new DLL

Hi Jason,

Is it at all possible just to copy and replace the old DLL? I don't have access to the server to unregister the DLL...

it may work. I wouldn't recomend it.
There is a web based asp page that you can upload to hte server that might work for you. if the server is configured properly, it will let you reg/unreg dll's via a web interface.
