Does Boris EX AE 5.0.1 work in AE Production Bundle 5.0?

I can load the plugin, (Boris AE 5.01) , and see the name "Boris" in the plugin catagory within AE Production Bundle Mac 5.0 , but when I applyt the "boris" catagory name effect to a clip , .......I click the Blue area in the effect pallette (as before in AE 4.1 standard).
It will not jump to the BIG (hog all the screen) interface (with all the neat parameters available) from Boris FX.
In fact I get a prompt saying Boris cannot disply the setup window because bla bla bla cap keys not up etc.

Somebody has been here before.
any help please?

I am using AE 5 on a PC (God forbid!) and Boris fx works fine on it. Just thought you might want to know, it does seem to be working with AE 5
