Does Avaya still make/support the BCM line?

I understood that when Avaya bought Nortel, the BCM line was to be killed off....and support stopped rather quickly...SO what's the status of the BCM line with Avaya? Did they just quit on the 200?? What models are still available if any? What's the word on life of support?

LOVE the BCM50 and was trying to get some 200 or 450s at a former company until IT decided Cisco was their new way (and they have problems with it and will never get a return on it due to all the POE routers they had to change to...though they still had Cat 3 wiring from the former Nortels in the offices (Norstars and MICS along with a 2 node SL100 at the HQ) and the SL100 was not programmed right for some local ELC/EMC exchanges

Hey if you loved BCM checkout the E-MetroTel UCx call servers. The system is being sold and produced by former Nortel guys. The feature codes and VoiceMail Lady is the same as Nortel. You can also integrate and use Meridian One/PBX Options M2000 and M3900 sets along with existing Norstar M and T series phones. You can use Nortel Unistim IP sets or any companies SIP sets, even Avaya on the UCx.

The final EoS will be effective October 1, 2012, or while supplies last.
Products required to upgrade, expand and maintain existing BCM systems will continue to be offered for another three (3) years to October 1, 2015. This includes software authorization codes, terminals, media bay modules, expansion units, replacement parts, and upgrades to the latest release (BCM R6.0).

Yeah if you want Avaya support for your BCM you have to have a 50 or 450 on release 6.0 and yes they are at EOL but they will be supported until year 2015.
