I was under the impression that stored procedures on the AS400 had to be written in cobal, C, or RPG, but that it does not support sql. I notice, however, the SPB (IBM's Stored Procedure Builder) claims it supports the AS400, but it only lets you write stored procedures in SQL and Java. So does the AS400 actually support SQL stored procedures, or does SPB translate it into a format the AS400 does understand?

I need help in setting up a procedure in an access program to execute IBM as/400 (Client Access data transfer .dtt script) from the PC (Excel files) to the IBM as/400 library.

I don't know how to do it using .dtt files, but it is fairly easy to create a table on the as400 based on an excel spread sheet using MS ACCESS and ODBC. Simply link to, or import your excel spreadsheet into access. Then export to the AS400 using iSeries ODBC drivers.
