Does anyone use the Data Environment Designer?
Or everybody constructs the ADO connections and recordsets by hand?
FYI: the Data Environment designer comes with VB6

The data environment is awesome. Create table, drag and drop queries right into a heirarchichal flexgrid. You name it. Cool.

Awesome tool for report building. Limiting in other areas though. That's why most use ADO connections, etc. for items other than reports.

I am fairly new to VB and the DED is basically all I have used. I really don't know the pros and cons of the various options. Could someone explain the differences? Thanks.
