Does anyone use Putty and is it safe?

We use the heck out of Putty and love it! I'd highly recommend that you force a SSH2 handshake which you can config. through putty.
There are a few people out there that can hack SSH. I've seen Internet sys-admins discussing this topic in-depth. A strong password helps but putty creates about the same amount of liability as a VPN tunnel.
For the truly paranoid, use Putty with SSH2 in a 168 Bit DES VPN tunnel
Even the feds would have a hard time cracking that!
