I need to backup my switch config from a Avaya P330 switch.
I have tried copy tftp stack-config filename ip address and it does not work. I keep getting a file not found error. I have tried everything. What am I doing wrong. please help. I need this done for an audit.

This is the command I am running:

P330-1(super)# copy tftp stack-config c:\stack.cfg 192.168.111.253

This is what show tftp download status shows me - why does it have stack-conifg as the destination file? My desitnation is to save stack-config from the switch to the TFTP server at 192.168.111.3 with file name stack.cfg.

P330-1(super)# show tftp download status
Module #1
===========
Module : 1
Source file : c:\stack.cfg
Destination file : stack-config
Host : 192.168.111.253
Running state : Idle
Failure display : Empty File
Last warning : No-warning

It is copy stack-config tftp filename Ip address and NOT copy tftp stack-config in case any other poul soul needs to figure this out from all the useless avaya manuals out there.
