We are looking at moving our eSynergy server to a colo facility. We want to separate our ES data (in our office) from the eSynergy data. We would have to upload the ES data several times a day to the eSynergy server at the colo facility.

Does anyone have eSynergy and ES set up like this?

Any guidance/advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Laura,

I realize this post is over a month old but I saw no replies and wanted to give my 3 cents.

It seems to me that to separate eSynergy and ES is to lose the only real reason to own both, the live link between them. As a Progression user, I don't have the luxury of the shared tables and must rely on batch uploading data and I'm here to say it stinks! The only live link I have comes from Interconnect (God Send) and it is wonderful to have LIVE data.

I apreciate the reasons to COLO but I think in this case I would choose not to.

Please feel free to contact me offline if you want to discuss.
