Does anyone have the user manuals for MICROS e7 POS system?

Hello all

I am new to this forum, but I have made many visits over the past 2 weeks.

I recently revived a MICROS e7 based pos ( ws4lx ) and would like to get the thing up and running for my brother in laws' bar.

I managed to find some user manuals on the web, but none that go about instructing the setup of the POS from scratch.

Does anyone have learning materials, manuals or a set up from scratch tutorial?

Are you setting it up completely from scratch? As in no touchscreens, no tenders, no srvc charges, etc? Or just with a blank shell? I could toss a shell database at you if you want; it takes FOREVER to set up completely from scratch.

Hello there.

I am terribly sorry for the months and months late reply, but I have been away.

Yes I have this old POS that has an existing DB on it.

I would love to leave it as it is and just change the name. clear the existing database and continue from there, but when i purchased the device on auction, I did not get any of the owner info or the admin rights.

I can reload it to default, but then as you mentioned its the long haul up hill.

If you do have an shell for me I would greatly appreciate it.

The above links are just some basic steps that might come in handy; also if the WS4 was setup by micros they usually leave an account when they need to troubleshoot, that is part of the Property Manager group, the login is 911.
