Does anyone know the power requirments for the Nortel phone system with two expansion boxs and the ACD box. with the max amount of phone stations hooked up.

Is this what you are looking for ?
Modular ICS
Voltage 110-120V ac
Current 2.6A rms (max)
Trunk Module
Voltage 110-120V ac
Current 1.75A rms (max)
Station Module
Voltage 110-120V ac
Current 1.0A rms (max)

Are you looking for the UPS size? That is going to depend on how long you want to maintain the system in an outage, or if you are primarily looking for surge protection. You are looking at about 1700VA max in a UPS. Check out
for more info on UPS.

we are looking to install a gererator and the CEO of my company wants the specs. is there a web site i can go to. to get the specs?

Most generators kick-on after a power outage or brown-out. I would still put a UPS on the phone equipment to avoid spikes and surges during the switch over to the generator.

Good Luck!!

we have the UPS hooked up too it. but the owners are looking to buy a new generator and want to know what the power requirments are.

Sprucegrover has giving you the requirments for all, but the voicemail.

You need to have a dedicated 110 outlet with min 15 amp breaker (20 amp recomended). Also do not forget the ground for the phone system is off the third leg of thhe outlet.

From Install manual for MICS:
Electrical requirements
-non-switched outlet within 1.5 m (5 ft.) of the ICS
-The ICS and module power cords are 1.5 m (5 ft.) long.
You may connect the ICS and modules to a power bar. The
power bar must be CSA certified and UL listed with a
third-wire ground.

Do not use an extension cord between the ICS and the
power bar, or between the power bar and the electrical
outlet.

-AC outlet equipped with a third wire safety ground to
provide shock protection and avoid electromagnetic
interference
-dedicated 110 V AC nominal, 50/60 Hz, 15 A minimum
service with a third wire safety ground Risk of electric shock.

The safety of this product requires connection to an
outlet with a third-wire ground. Use only with threeprong
power cord and outlet.

Check ground connections.
Ensure that the electrical ground connections of the
power utility, telephone lines and internal metallic water
pipe system, if present, are connected together. If they
are not connected together, contact the appropriate
electrical inspection authority. Do not attempt to make
the connections yourself.

Good Luck!!

There are also a couple of FAQ's on power loading. JerryReeve

You may also want to consider a line conditioner. UPSs do not typically guard from line quality issues.
