I just had this asked of me and was stumped other than to say "zap the PRAM and rebuild the desktop" but all to no avail.
Is the battery dying methinks? All input appreciated.
Paul.

"When I switch my computer (Dual Gig G4 Superdrive combo) back on the date has been reset to - January 1970 01:00:00

and if I try to launch Logic I get a warning:

'The system clock on your machine is wrong! Check the time, date and time zone settings!
Fri, Nov 9 2035'

...I reset it, but when the computer is switched off, then on again the same thing happens.

it's like that."

You need to buy a new clock battery and that will take care of your problems.
When the clock battery goes so does the system, all kinds of strange things will happen.
