How do people feel about a program that will document Transformer Models. Aimed primarily at Transformer Models using IQD's as queries. It will output to HTML and an Access database. It will extract information from IQD's. It will automatically compare IQD's to the IMR to ensure they are valid. It will Highlight problems with Models like IQD not where it should be. It will show Level details like Source, Category Code etc... There's a clickable user front end of the dimension map that takes advantage of the Description fields within Transformer. Common descriptions can be uploaded to a number of Models easily (ie The measure X is calculated by A + B etc...). Other features like "Which Models in my environment use X field from the source data and in which Levels?".

Please provide your comments or any relevant info on this.

Thanks for that DoubleD. I have heard (very little) of this company before. Do you know what the cost of their product is? What sort of detail does it include?

Envisn provides very in-depth documentation. Contact them as they will provide an excellent demo of their products. I believe the company was started by several ex-Cognos consultants.
They have several products available, but I don't remember exactly what the pricing was on them. I know we purchased the Auditing tool but have not yet purchased the documentation tool.
