I am a systems engineer for a consulting company, and we have clients that are starting to get Vista. One of them sent me a message that their three Vista PCs cannot save files to the network, and they get a "Document not Saved" error message. UAC is turned off. It does not matter what program is used, all results in the same error.

has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a suggestion for a fix? Any help is appreciated.

When files can't be saved to a network share, it's caused by the combination of permissions/credentials/authentication system. What OS & file system controls the network share?

The OS is Vista, and Ntfs is the file system. On the server, OS is SBS2003.

Also, they have XP on the network as well and the same user can log into an XP box and can save the file on the network.
