We have just upgraded from docs open 3.7.2 to docs open 3.9.5. We are using a windows 2000 enviroment with Windows xp as the client and WordPerfect 9 sp 4.

our problem is when a user goes to save a document Wordperfect hangs when you kill the unresponsive Docs you get a profiled doucment with a 0 byte file. Has anyone seen this before and what did you do to correct it.

There is a compatibility issue with the combination of WordPerfect 9/Windows XP/DOCSOpen 3.9X. It does not happens if the Workstation is Windows 2000 Pro or if the WordPerfect is version 11 or 12.

So is there anything that we can do or are we stuck with this problem? The good news is that we are going to Microsoft Office 2003 but that may not happen until the end of the year. I would hate to have to tell the users that they are out of luck until then.

You are pretty much stuck with the problem. There is a Hot Fix for ODMA Problems in the Corel Knowledgebase that can minimize the problem but you'll still get the freezes. Sorry!!!
