Yes there is. Its quite easy to do but takes a while to find things out. First off, you need to set your Security settings as many sites can gather info from Java, ActiveX and cookies, as well as damaging your system. Go to Internet Properties and click on the tab Security. Then Custom Level and disable ActiveX, Cookies, and Scripting. Be warned that if you want to acces Microsofts pages or buy things you'll have to reset these.

Then, get a firewall. A free one is ZoneAlarm, but I use Atguard.

Then, these are hard to find, get a trully ANON proxy and load into your browser. Try here for help:
