Do the 3903's support multiple BFS appearances? 1

I was "upgrading" a user from their old 2008 phone and wanted to retain the former phone's functionality.

I have put in place a 3904, but am concerned that it only supports the use of a single instance of BFS.

Will it be possible for me to program the user's new 3904 to display the BFS of several users?

I couldn't track down a good guide describing how to program the programmable keys on the 3904, or describing which key in the Meridian config was related to which key or softkey on the phone. If anyone has a link to a guide for that, it'd also be much appreciated.

I am just going by this forum post, [URL unfurl="true"]http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=949051[/url] which indicates that I should be able to program keys 0-3 for line appearances.

The config for this phone as of now is, in relevant part:

If the 3904 doesn't support multiple BFS, that's fine, too. If I have the config right, I just need to know how to show the user to switch between them. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

You will have 12 keys, 0 thru 11 that could be used for this purpose. Keys 6 thru 11 will be on the shifted side.

By the way your post title says 3903 and then you describe a 3904

I meant a 3903 in all instances. Sorry for the inaccurate post. I reviewed it and everything, just missed the 3903/3904 mixup.

I guess my (newly revised) question still stands. Will the 3903 support multiple BFS appearances?

3903 will support keys 0 thru 3, that's it.

Thanks for the quick replies. Coming from the TeleVantage/Software interface side of things it's always a shock to me when I can't do things on a hardware phone. If I can only shift through 2 screens of 2 bottons, that's what I'll have to do. I will see if having the display is worth losing a few BFS appearances to my client.

You can always upgrade them to a 3904. And install an add-on module(s) for more keys if needed.
