Hello There,

I have a problem i am not sure how to fix?

When a user wants to send an email and then selects the "Do not deliver before" option from Outlook their email goes at different times?.

If for example, they stated not before 16:00 today the email could be delivered 30 mins before, 2 hours after or even on time?

What i would like to know is why this could be?.

I have checked the times of the Mail server and users pc and they seem to be the same and i myself have seen this happening for me to?

The users have outlook 2002 and the mail server is Exchange 2000.

Does anyone have any ideas on this subject, any help would be greatly appreiated.

I have had this same problem only the user set the email to be delayed on December 18, 2003 for one hour and they email was received on February 10, 2004. Did you ever find anything out

Hello dfalken,

Yes i did get somewhere on this.

I rebooted the exchange server and then it worked ok. There is a timer on the mail server that after 60 days without a reboot can start having an impact on email that you want to send at a particular time.

This is on Microsofts web site as a known problem which should be fixed by having the latest service pack installed.

So try a mail server reboot and see how you get on, it worked for me.

Sorry i cannot remember more on this call, it was some time ago.....

Cheers,

Del...
