I just need someone to confirm or not. ??

I have a customer who just built a new remote office and added some IP phones. They have their own .6 subnet at the remote office, with a .2 subnet at the main office.

Phone 192.168.6.xxx

Server 192.168.2.230

Gateway 192.168.6.254

Subnet 255.255.255.0

The phones are stuck on "discover 192.168.2.230". I am thinking it is a network issue between the two sites, but just wanted to confirm about the subnet mask? Should it be different than 255.255.255.0?

The mask is fine, you need a route in the IPO for 192.168.6.0 / 255.255.255.0 / 192.168.2.x (IP Office's gateway to the remote site) / LAN-1 (or 2, whichever connects to the gateway)

After that, it is a network issue. Can you ping from each site to the other?

I can ping from the phones to the IP Office. I never thought about the IP route from the IP office. I know we dont have that, so that might be the issue. Let me check.
