I have a user in our office who will be using the Web for downloads and browsing, but she does not have email. Will NAV do me any good in this instance? Should I bother installing it for her?

Yes, install it. If a system has any contact with the internet, it should have AV protection. There are virii that come from infected web sites. Trojans in particular.

Hell, as a general rule of thumb, every computer should have AV running on it. Only exception I can think of is a SQL server dedicated box. That should be scanned daily, but probably doesn't need real time protection where files are constantly under observation. =============

GOD YES, put NAV on that box!

Hell, even WITH NAV, my home box is warning me through Norton Internet Security that someone routinely tries to access my computer through a Trojan!
