Getting errors in my errpt that seem to deal with CSM. For example, SRC error with a failing module of IBM.CSMAgentRM. Do I need the CSM subsystem? I'm running 5.1 ML02 on a 7026-6H1.

When you install migrate to AIX 5.1 or 5.2, the Cluster Systems Management filesets are automatically installed. Unless you are interested in using CSM, they can be safely removed.

What are these?

ctcas rsct 19608 active
ctrmc rsct 102468 active
IBM.ServiceRM rsct_rm 116100 active
IBM.CSMAgentRM rsct_rm 76942 active
IBM.ERRM rsct_rm 97592 active
IBM.AuditRM rsct_rm 90430 active

Can I get rid of all of these? I get errors with all of these....not just CSM...

CSM is replacing PSSP which is used for clustering nodes. Remove them if you want.

You mustn't remove all of the RSCT services because AIX V5 needs them. Just deinstall the CSM related filesets. You will find the filesets by entering lslpp -L csm.*
