What is the proper way to configure DNS and/or WINS to properly use VPN? We are using the Cisco VPN client through a Cisco PIX, the firewall and client are configured but when you access the network via the VPN, hostnames are not resolved, just IP addresses. Anyone have any suggestions?

The pix issues a dhcp ip to the cisco vpn client. Add your internal dns servers to that dhcp lease.

Thank you, I have figured it out. The wrong DNS suffix was placed in the configuration.
