Hi,

I have a static IP and would like to host multiple sites on my NT 4 server. Can I host my primary DNS Server and IIS on the same machine? I have given InterNic my IP and what I think is my SOA but I can't get it to work. (this is kinda new frontier). Any help or directions to other locations that I can teach myself would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

you can (technically speaking) host your DNS & IIS on the same machine (although I don't recommend it)
Do you have a problem hosting multiple websites on the same machine ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte

I'm mostly having trouble with the DNS and thought that maybe the two just wouldn't work together. I understand IIS and host headers, for the most part at this time. I'm just having a real time of trying to type in and getting it to show up. I can ping the IP, so I know it's there.

They'll work fine.
I've had DNS service and IIS runing on same box for years.
just make sure you set up DNS correctly first!
With two NS records, and SOA, and A record and MX record.
Microsoft's KB has a nice walkthrough.
