SpokaneBug

We have run into a strange problem. We have an IP 406 running 3.2 We switched over to a new internet service provider and when we changed our DNS settings on the network it causes the phone system to stop functioning. It doesn't terminate existing calls, but you cannot dial new calls. As soon as we switch back to the old DNS settings it works again. You can ping the phone system but once you change the DNS settings the ping becomes erratic and can’t ping it most the time. If we put the phone on speaker so we can hear the dial tone as soon as we switch DNS it starts to go in and out and you cannot make a phone call. We put it back the normal dial tone comes back.
This has us really confused since I don't even know how the phone system is getting DNS information since no entries for DNS.
