I had a problem with internal DNS this weekend.
My 2003/Exchange Server was configured as DNS server for my DHCP clients. In configuring our router's VPN capability we inadvertently created a loop in that the router was arp'ing it's address as the MAC address of the 2003 server and conflicting the 2003 server's IP. AAARRRGGGHHHHHH. We appear to have that issue resolved but it has wreaked havoc on MM... Seems to have broken the link between DC and MAS. Now we can't get to MM Admin in AD entries. In addition, now we can't get to the VM domain through system configuration.
Any advice on this one? I'm in a real bind here and i'm trying to get this resolved asap.
Thanks. btw, it's MM 3.1 - Exchange MAS
