I have a URL that only needs to be accessed from inside my network. The current URL is a little long ( name/Login.asp) and I was wondering if there is a way I can make a friendly name (app.domain.com) and have it redirect to the longer URL via my DNS server.

Thanks a lot

No, you can't redirect via DNS to a folder and file.

You can configure the web server via IIS to redirect requests to the root of the web site to the login page.
