Hello,

I have a strange problem with Cisco VPN client 4.03 connecting to Cisco Pix 6.3

The Client connects everytime without a problem BUT
Foward lookup fails
Reverse Lookup works every time

The only work around I have for the moment is to use WINS !

Can anyone help

Thanks
Damian

Are you trying to resolve your internal dns names or external?

A normal VPN Setup from a PIX is that is cuts off all external internet communication during the VPN session.. as such you would no longer be able to access the internet until you disconnected your VPN session.

I'm using internal DNS resolution.
I know blocking internet access while the VPN is up
