dns 'deregisteration' errors

I put win2000 server on a machine and made it the first dc, but from time to time, it fills the event log with the errors like 'could not deregister name' and these are regarding the first_default_site and sometimes regarding the dc itself. Any ideas, Please!!

I just went through this same thing, you need to config your DNS and make it authoritative on your domain. If you take the exact error message, and do a google search, or MS support search, you'll find step by step instructions. Here is a link to MS info on this error:
