DNS configuration in Solaris 7

When you say configure DNS do you mean.

a. Configure BIND, set up DNS to resolv host names for yuor domain?

b. Setup client dns host resloution ?

what i need was to set up DNS to resolv host names for my domian. I have got the required info from docs.sun.com.But some more input is welcome.

I need a Korn shell script to find the number of days betn 2 given dates say todays date is 4/18/01 and I want to calculate the difference between current system date and 3/1/01 how do I do it?
Can any one plz help me out
