Dear All,

I want to register a domain by myself. I know there is a public DNS service (free) and domain registation (with registation fee). I fill in the primary domain server with the public DNS provide for me. I have a website at home with dynamic IP. How can public people go to my home page through my domain name and through the DNS.

Thanks

have you subscribed to a free dynamic DNS service??
i've done this and i'm with zoneedit for the zone management...
then you download a tool like DirectUpdate that updates host records on the zoneedit server for my zone with my actual ip address....

you need:
1. a registered domain name
2. a dynamic dns service (which will have to host your nameservers, this can be transferred from your domain seller to zoneedit for example)
3. directupdate or equivalent

As your suggestion, the domain name that I apply is not useful. I use no-ip.com before, I want my domain name like tonylee.com.

Thanks

.com costs a lot.....
ive got a .org, it costs me $5-10 a year i think

joker.com
