Does it matter if the DNIS transmitted is larger than what a NEC 2000 is configured for? We are moving off the crap office@hand that ATT sold us on, among other issues it did not support NDIS and the toll free numbers were routed by having office@hand dial an extension. Moving to the IP TollFree platform it has NDIS and they can do up to 10 digits. While we don't have any need for more than four currently I'm thinking about possible future phone system upgrades. Although since we only have about 70 extensions and 4 digit extension codes I don't think we would ever need more NDIS digits.

It does not matter. A typical PRI sends all digits. The IPS 2000 is programmed to accept the last 2, 3 or 4 digits, then match them to an extension. It ignores the rest. Later software and 8300 software can look at more digits.
