We have a 500 set that when you stat it says DND? When you call the phone it will not ring. How do we remove this?
Thanks for any info.

The user must dial the Make Set Busy Deactivate (MSBD) FFC or the
Deactivate (DEAF) FFC.

GO TO LD 57 AND PRINT THEM OUT

I went to LD 57 and tried
PRT
FCC
DEAF or MSDB

I get no helpful information. Is there something I am missing? Thanks

FFC not FCC

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I mistyped FCC. I also tried LD 26 to see if there were any DND groups assocaited with CUST 0. I don't know how this was enabled on this set in the first place. It might have happened when Obama or the Clintons stayed in our hotel. Is there not something you can dial from the phone to enable DND and disable DND?

DND is (Do Not disturb) and you need to use the SPRE Code plus the DEAF Code that is programmed in your system. I have never used 500 sets and SPRE Codes. It might be easier for you to out the phone and rebuild it. Prt the TNB first so you can put it back in the same.

it will still be there even if you out it and rebuild it. if you have an att. console with a dnd key it you can remove it there or from a hospitality terminal

I don't think so!

If you have a PMS link it had to be set by it.

Maybe they just used a SPRE Code to set DND and not from the ATT

the DND is activated against the DN and if you out the TN and rebuild the DN on the original TN or any other TN it will come back activated

I do have an att. console. Would you know how to remove the DND from the att. console? Thanks

from the console press a loop key - then press the dnd key and enter the dn then pressing the dnd key toggles it between activated and de-activated - you can print the consolesin load 20 to see if they have a ddl key

Thanks phonedude10 !
Now I know how the DND from the Att. console works! XD
