Question for 3300 rel 8.

When I active DND on my desk, the BLF on the KIM of my receptionnist is lit, perfect. But if I call the phone and the VM answer I hears « The person is on the phone ... » This is possible not to hear that ??? I use the DND feature to indicate the receptionist who I am absent or unable to take a call.

Thanks

Call rerouting is for Busy/DND. If you activate DND and have your set rerouted on busy it will follow the routing to VM. You might try using forwarding to send your calls to VM in stead of routing.

I tried to remove the busy/DND in call rerouting, I have the same effect. Like if DND = busy

Ideally what would you like to have happen when you put the set in DND and the receptionists transfers to your extension? You can accomplish a lot through forwarding busy (this is where a DND call will go) to a speed call. Also what kind of voicemail are you using (Am integrated vmail or a 3rd party)

When I activate the DND, I would like that the button lights on the PKM of the receptionnist and when this one me transfer a call that does not ring at my phone and especially that does not say in my mailboxe « The person is on the phone ... »

The voicemail is embedded

Thanks for the support

I have resolved my problem ... starting from version 7, you can use the Customizable Mailbox Greeting Prompts.

The embedded voice mail system has been enhanced by the addition of options to control the playback of the various pre-recorded and customizable Mailbox Greeting prompts.

It's very hot, I like it ...

Thanks Mitel !!

Damn, missed my chance to earn a star, I was about to tell you to try that.
