Hi i have a question regarding md110 dna server how is it licensed is it like on businessphone with a wibu dongle or is it key code that you type in under installation or is it licensed in md110 pbx and that the software checks against pbx licence?

this question maybe a bit easy for the once that have installed DNA but i hope they have understanding for me asking how the licens part works

Sincerly Lasse

there is a seperate licensemanager server software that needs to be installed (mostly it is installed on the same server). then a license file is obtained from aastra and inserted into the licensemanager.

Some more info

When installed DNA creates a 60 day open license in ELM Server, you must fingerprint the ELM server and send to Aastra to get the real license back. Customer can use features they have not bought, if they like, they can buy or after 60 days, no more function apart from licensed ones.
