Hi,

I have a problem, when I try to make a automatic synchronization of all information in node 1:

I set up a schedule job running MDS, mds.exe /site:1

but it doesn´t work.

And in the Event Viewer, the result is:

'SYNC_CMD_LINE' for site3[] by D.N.A. user administrador failed.

Hi,
I have some questions about your problem.

What user is starting the RDS service on the server?
is it "administrador" ?
does this user excist in DNA Userconfiguration with priveliges for MD110 support and all the sites?
How many sites do you have and does any synchronize correctly?

My advice would be to check what "windows user" is staring the RDS service and check DNA user configuration that that username excists, and have the correct priveliges (MD110support "sitename" and read/write)

Hi nian99,

The user that start RDS is Administrador and this user has all priveliges for MD110 Support, RDS, EMG ....

I have 8 Sites and no of them works.

The user that start the RDS service and DNA is the same, and it has the same username and password.

Okay.
I suppose you already looked at the log files för MDS(DNA_S\SITE1\MDS\LOG\cmdln**.log)
and that you know that that the username is case sensitive.

I have tried to get the same error and I can only get the type of error when something is not correct regarding the user name/priveliges

I know whats wrong!

First, dont start the RDS service with a special account, let it be startet with the system account instead.

Second, in the RDS Schedueles check the "Use current logged on user......." its at the bottom of the Schedueles settings page.

See to that the currently logged on user (DNA User, not the OS User) have preveligeies (thats poor spelling but I dont care!!) to log on to all the sites that is to be syncronized (same again I think, still don´t care).

Start MD110 support from the DNA-server and check that you can connect to the sites that you want to sync.

Remember that it is MD110 support on the DNA-server that does the sync, so it has to be able to log on to the site if it´s going to work.

If the DNA-server can´t log on to the site it is not possible to sync.

NANSI.
I totally agree with what you say, I've actually never used "use currrent logged on user.." but after testing I see that this feature eliminates the need of creating a DNA user with the same name as the OS user starting the rds.
